I finally bottomed out, this week I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. On a weekend that comes from being alone, duh! Yeah, I did it. Does that tell you anything? Well, that’s the moment when I honestly considered finding a date with Great Expectations.
No problem. I’ll ease back into dating thru this Dallas dating service. That could do me good. My dating life is worth bringing up. While eating corn on the cob at George’s graduation in Denver last night, Jim wouldn’t get off my back about if I’ve bumped into my true love. They always bring this up, every year. Anyway, I looked up at them and yelled, “No.”
Can you believe that even Cousin Terry chimed in along the lines of my companionship situation. I said to the whole group: “Hey look, do you even know me?”
How can they be so rude? Each one of them scoffed. Irritated, I went to the gym in hopes this loneliness would all go away. I still have no idea what to do! It was more useful listening to my dad, which is never the case. Billy, who recently moved to Italy advised that I meet singles at Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” Should have thought of it myself. I will never regret joining this Dallas dating service.
At the time, singles events and mixers were a novel thing to me. This was all really foreign to me, that my hands started sweating. A mere emotional anxiety did not stop another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was a happy hour not to forget. The gems of the occasion had to be the attractive, single women.
I started going to these glorious Dallas singles events, I rubbed elbows with a handful of marvelous guys and gals who clearly feel as excited as I am which made for a magnificent singles event. Now I can stop letting everyone give their two cents about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Surprisingly enough, matchmaking the Great Expectations way is my pleasure and like a dream come true.
