Achieve Incredible Expectations with the Fullest Dating and Matchmaking Service

Not that I eschew drama, because I didn’t always have Great Expectations for my dating life. I finally bottomed out, this week I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. On a weekend that comes from being alone, duh! Yeah, I did it. Does that tell you anything? Well, that’s the moment when I honestly considered finding a date with Great Expectations.

No problem. I’ll ease back into dating thru this Dallas dating service. That could do me good. My dating life is worth bringing up. While eating corn on the cob at George’s graduation in Denver last night, Jim wouldn’t get off my back about if I’ve bumped into my true love. They always bring this up, every year. Anyway, I looked up at them and yelled, “No.”

Can you believe that even Cousin Terry chimed in along the lines of my companionship situation. I said to the whole group: “Hey look, do you even know me?”

How can they be so rude? Each one of them scoffed. Irritated, I went to the gym in hopes this loneliness would all go away. I still have no idea what to do! It was more useful listening to my dad, which is never the case. Billy, who recently moved to Italy advised that I meet singles at Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” Should have thought of it myself. I will never regret joining this Dallas dating service.

At the time, singles events and mixers were a novel thing to me. This was all really foreign to me, that my hands started sweating. A mere emotional anxiety did not stop another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was a happy hour not to forget. The gems of the occasion had to be the attractive, single women.

I started going to these glorious Dallas singles events, I rubbed elbows with a handful of marvelous guys and gals who clearly feel as excited as I am which made for a magnificent singles event. Now I can stop letting everyone give their two cents about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Surprisingly enough, matchmaking the Great Expectations way is my pleasure and like a dream come true.

Ten Ways to Finding Your True Identity in Retirement

There are definite benefits to having an identity in life. By knowing your identity, you are better able to accomplish your goals, whatever they may be. Well, this is especially true during your retirement years. By knowing who you are and what you need to accomplish in life, you’ll gain a sense of confidence and pride, and your life will have precise meaning. You won’t feel as though you are living an unfulfilled life. In this brief article, we’ll discuss 10 ways to find your true identity. They are as follows:

1. Do something productive. People today retire at about 57.5 years and have likely worked for 35-plus years, and can expect to live to about age 85 or older. So they’ll, in essence, spend 45+ years in retirement. Therefore, it is paramount that you do something that you enjoy and that makes you happy.

2. Consider retirement as a commencement. What is your concept of retirement? Hopefully, you’ll se it as a new beginning — a time to grow. Remember, the end of one thing is the commencement of another. You could use this time to learn French, travel to foreign lands, take a new course, or start a new business. By using your new-found time to make your dreams come true, you can truly find purpose.

3. Continuing to work. Yes, it is true, you may have retired. But you aren’t dead. You can still work a full-time or part-time job, or pursue volunteer activities. Either way, the possibilities are endless. The benefits range from keeping yourself busy to earning some extra cash.

4. Remain active. By remaining active, you can take control of your physical health and emotional well-being. After all, a healthy body facilitates a healthy mind. Consider joining a yoga, jazzercise or karate class. This will help you physically and socially.

5. Find new goals. This is the time to find new goals or rekindle old ones. No that you have time on your hands, try to fulfill your dreams. Decide what you want to accomplish and achieve.

6. Join a worthy cause. By committing yourself to helping others, you will find purpose and meaning in retirement. Not only will thismake the world a better place, but it will give you immense pride and a feeling of inner accomplishment.

7. Cultivate a hobby. By pursuing a hobby, you’ll be able to do something that makes you feel good. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to be a crafter. Well, now is the time to make jewelry and other trinkets that you can give away or, better yet, sell for a profit!

8. Maintain a youthful attitude. Just because you are retired does not mean you have to act like you’re ancient! Go bungee junping, rock climbing, ice skating, skiing, or simply travel. By acting like you feel, you’ll maintain a youthful attitude.

9. Maintain a positive attitude. By remaining energetic and having a better understanding of what you want out of life, you can find purpose and meaning. Spread your joy and happiness to others. Be a beacon of light, and shine.

10. Just refuse to fade away! Take control over your life and realize that you are here for the long haul. Although you may be retired, this is the “betinning, not the end” and you can accomplish all of your personal and professional goals by having faith and perseverance, and bymaking your dreams a reality. You can be your own “personal best” — retired or not!

In conclusion, retirement is not the end, but the beginning. You can find purpose and meaning in your life. By refusing to fade away, maintaining a positive attitude, maintaining a youthful attitude, cultivating a hobby, joinging a worthy cause, finding new goals, remaining active, continuing to work, changing your attitude, and being productive, you can retire successfully. And you will have meaning and purpose in your life.

The Dash

Dreams …

When God gives you a dream he usually shows us the end by that I mean he shows us “the accomplishment of the dream”; he doesn’t show us the process of accomplishing the dream because I tend to think that if he showed us the process most of us would say forget it its too hard. It’s too tough I can’t do this… I don’t think I want this as much as I thought I wanted it.

The process is “hard stuff” and I tend to think that this is the part that most of us quit and give up on our dream… this is where we abort the dream and the few who endure are the ones who see their dream come to its entirety.

Don’t give up on your dream just because it is hard… Endure so that you can leave to tell the rest of the world how you endured because I tend to think that most people are so quick to tell us how they became a success its very seldom that we hear about how people endure. People don’t tell us of how during the journey to their success they felt like giving up. Endure for your dream and to help others.

Motivational Speaker – What To Look For

You’re the CEO of a large company and you want to bring somebody over to speak to your employees, to get them all pumped up about the new advertising campaign. Or maybe you’re a high school basketball coach and you want someone to talk to your kids about competition and having that killer instinct. Regardless of who you are, who your people are and what you do, choosing a motivational speaker is more than just finding somebody who is knowledgeable about your business, sport or whatever it is you do. Hopefully the following tips will give you a good idea of what to look for when searching for a motivational speaker.

The first thing you want to look for in a motivational speaker is somebody who can speak clearly. So many people who are intelligent and knowledgeable have terrible speaking voices or thick accents that nobody can understand. You may want to get the top shortstop in the major leagues to speak to your little league team but if he speaks like Jose Reyes of the New York Mets (no offense Jose) then you’re going to have a lot of problems. An accent that thick will not be understandable and the purpose of the talk will be lost.

In addition, you want somebody who has a commanding voice and presence. The last thing you want when hiring a motivational speaker is someone who speaks quietly and doesn’t command attention. This doesn’t mean that he has to come into the meeting waving pom poms and doing cheers, but he should be energetic and full of enthusiasm. It should be more than obvious that he it not only good at what he does but enjoys it.

On top of that, it doesn’t hurt to have somebody speak who has a sense of humor. This doesn’t mean that he has to tell jokes every 2 minutes but listening to him should be amusing as well as informative. Let’s face it, when you’re listening to someone speak, if all they are doing is just fill you with a ton of facts and figures, it can get very boring after a while. You want somebody who can mix in a humorous remark once in a while, somebody who can keep the meeting interesting.

Probably the most important thing to look for in a motivational speaker is credibility. Most likely, after he or she is done speaking, your group is going to have questions. It is very likely that many of these questions will have to do with the speaker’s qualifications. They’re going to want to know what he has done that makes him qualified to speak on the subject. For example, if you have a little league baseball team and you get Tom Seaver to come to speak to the kids, well, he certainly does have credibility having won over 300 games in his career. Bringing a college coach who’s never had a winning college team in 20 years probably won’t carry as much weight with your kids. Credibility is everything.

The last thing, and unfortunately something you can’t overlook, is how much this speaker is going to cost you. If you’re on a limited budget, there is only so much you can do. Tom Seaver may be beyond your means. However, if you go through certain organizations it is possible to get a motivational speaker for free, depending on other agreements that are worked out such as providing other services in exchange such as endorsements.

Anybody can speak in front of a group. Getting somebody who can speak well is a whole other matter.
